Counselling & Compassionate Inquiry
Compassionate Inquiry is a somatic-based psychotherapeutic approach developed by Dr. Gabor Maté that helps individuals safely uncover and release layers of childhood trauma, constriction and suppressed emotion embedded in the body, that are at the root of physical and mental conditions.
The approach is built on the understanding that early childhood coping mechanisms—often developed as a necessary way to protect ourselves from overwhelming childhood emotions—can lead to a lasting disconnection from our bodies and feelings. Over time, this ongoing disconnection can manifest as physical, mental, emotional, or relational difficulties.
By bringing awareness to how these old patterns are carried in the nervous system, we can begin to restore agency and foster a new way of being characterized by spontaneity, personal choice, and genuine freedom.
With twenty years of experience working as a wellness practitioner all over the world, I am here to support your journey back home.
